I'd rather have a mammogram than have oral surgery...

Procrastination, it will get you every time. I'm grateful for my my orthodontics, my teeth are straight, they're white, I think I have a great mouth, but those braces messed up my gums on two teeth. If I had the grafting done 11 years ago like I was told I should it wouldn't have been too bad. I had the left side of my mouth done a year and a half ago, was supposed to come back in 2 months to have the right side done, and now I am in so much trouble. I hope the grafting takes this time like the other side did. Calling in the morning, but oral surgeons, they're backed up farther than my sweet dentist. My dentist is our bestest friend and he just smiles and asks so politely for me to open when I clamp down on his fingers, but I know I'm going to get a lecture now. My bad, I deserve it. Now, where is that Orajel?

Update: Made my appt. after my walk this morning. The cold air I was breathing was a constant reminder. I go in just for a looksie next week. In the meantime I guess I need to go buy some Sensodyne. But I refuse to let it get in the way of my special night out with Mr. D tonight. Bistro Laurent, Mmmmmmm I can't wait to see their specials.

I am not a fan of seeing a dentist either. I hope there is an easier solution for you. Hugs

Good for you for taking care of yourself!! Even if it is painful! But, you need to get these things taken care while you still live close enough to your great dentist!!

Congrats on the new prospects!!! I'm totally excited for you guys!!!!
