Finding my inner punkster...

Duran Duran or Depeche Mode? I was definately a Modie. Not Mod, that was different, kind of like today's Emo's. I wasn't that, but I loved the punkier kind of music. So, last year I started discovering today's music, the stuff my daughter and her friends listen to, isn't so bad. My music is actually a little more hard core than hers. Yes, I love Good Charlotte, I'm okay with Green Day and Fall Out Boys, and now I've found 30 Seconds to Mars too. I'm lovin' it. The seminary kids are always asking me to turn it up on our 2 minute drive from the church to the highschool. I discovered the music meant for MY age was a little more, um, immodest, sexy lyrics, irreverent, than their music. Why not put in my punk? It's fun and listening to them sing along is a hoot. Two of my seminary boys just got their drivers licenses, he's a Switchfoot fanatic. They tell me when new CD's come out now that they think I'll like. See, my husband makes them listen to his CD's when he drives the youth places, his Josh Groban Cd's, and other stuff that kids shouldn't be subjected to in tiny cramped spaces and surrounded by other kids while they're attempting to be cool. So, my husband is happier, and funnier, but in my own way, I'm kewl. LOL

I'm not a huge music person, so I don't recognize some of those - okay most of those!!! LOL

I do like Josh Groban though!!

Hey, when will you hear on the job thing?

I liked both Duran and Depeche, depending on my mood. But so far as videos go, Duran Duran is the clear winner. With both Simon le Bon *and* John Taylor (hotness itself), how could they go wrong?
